Hey guys, this is my first ever post here on WP central! So I have (still...), the Nokia lumia 900. Its ok but i obviously want to upgrade it.i was thinking about the 930. I wish the 1520 was smaller lol. But do you think the 930 is good or no? And also, how much will it be with a 2 year contract from AT&T? Thanks guys.

At this point, we do not even know if AT&T is getting the 930. It has not been announced yet.

but assuming it does, the 930 is a fine device and would be a logical upgrade, although the size upgrade might be more than you'd like, depending on personal preference though.
There are also x20 devices that could be looked at if you're looking to save some money.

It doesn't look like AT&T or anyone else in the US is going to get the 930/Icon any time soon which is such a shame. If I were Nokia, I'd be pushing it on all networks and selling it unlocked direct and / or from as many outlets as possible.

I fear the carriers here just have too much power.

Ok so of it doesn't come out for at&t, what other phone should I get? What's the size difference between the 930 and 1520? Because I know the 1520 is like amazing, but isn't it HUGE? Also, 920 vs icon? And if it's $599 without the contract, how much would it be with a 2yr contract?

Between the 930 and 1520, we're talking an extra inch in screen size. The 930/Icon is comparable to the 920.
If you look up the specs, dimensions are among them.
I wouldn't like the 1520, but some others do.

The off-contract price often doesn't relate much to the contract price. For a standard flagship it would be $200, but the 1020 debuted at $300 I believe. Heck, it could be free, the subsidy can get ridiculous.
