Nokia Lumia Icon or Nokia Lumia 930

Hello. I currently use a Nokia Lumia 1520 and the device is great but the size doesn't work for me as its uncomfortable carrying it in my back pocket doing truck at a large department store so I was wondering which device should I look into getting the Nokia Lumia Icon or the Nokia Lumia 930? I can easily afford the Icon once i return my 1520 but I will need to save up more to get the 930.

Basically the same phone, except the Icon was made for Verizon. Where are you? The 930 won't get LTE in the US.

930, country variant-unlocked one, you won't have to wait Verizon to relase future updates.

I doubt it. I know MMS isn't going to work, and I think tethering too.
I'd go 930 because of the less hassle and waiting, not being tied to VZW and all.

Also, 930 has more color choices I got green one from Expansys (I rarely use data, and don't care about LTE)

I definitely will look into it due to the fact having such a big phone in your back pocket feels very uncomfortable.

Bottom line here is the 930/Icon are basically the same phone. Icon is exclusive to Verizon and the 930 was never offers in the U.S., neither will get LTE on the ATT/T-Mobile networks (unlocked or not) it's a hardware issue. If you really need a new phone now the 830 is really the only option.
