Nokia Luna Headset

Has anyone else used the Luna headset with their phones? Im just wondering if when hitting the button on the headset if its supposed to activate voice controls or not, because on mine it doesn't. I have to activate it on the phone to use the headset for controls.

I thought you had to tap and hold the button to get the voice control prompt.... reviewed it a long time ago and just can't remember exactly.
