So I read somewhere that there's an app called Nokia Reading that let's you read DRM free epubs and PDF files. How is that for PDF files compared with the rather crappy PDF Viewer app?

Much better.
Though just remember that Nokia has not made the app available in USA yet and i'm not sure if the app is available for Windows Phone 8?

Nokia Reading is available in Europe. Just change in your 'Language+region"-->County/region to United Kingdom or other European country. Reboot your phone, go to store and download it.

Would love to know the bogus reason for hiding it.

I tried uninstalling the PDF reader but when I tried to open a PDF it sent me to find an app in the Store. (I already have Nokia Reading installed.)

Maybe you have to open the PDF from within Nokia Reading?

Could someone answer,
I have mobi and epub files, non-drm, on my computer.
How do I get them on and read them on my Lumia 920?

I am able to read them on both my Android and IOS devices. But, can't figure out how to on WP8.

What do I need to do?

Upload your files to SkyDrive.with Nokia reading you can download from SkyDrive and read the files

Licensing costs, same as why Nokia music USA came ~8 months after it had been launched in Europe.

Just like music you are talking about book store at some countries and copyrighted material.

I changed the country/region settings, rebooted, scanned the code, the app says: This app is not available for your device
what did I do wrong? L920 on ATT

EDIT: had to repear region change and reboot and it worked

You can just manually search it in the store since you change the region to UK.

Ive found nokia reading and installed it. Ive also uploaded the pdf file i want to read to skydrive but when i tried downloading it to my lumia 920 it says download paused and i need to charge my phone. I tried charging my phone but it still wont work

Anybody have solution for this?
