So, is Nokia Xpress actually a browser unto itself? Or is it a wrapper around IE? Is it worth using it for the data savings?

Webkit browser ... a nice option if you have problem with IE on some certain "Apple" page :)

It might be a good option for very slow connections too ...

There was a Nokia beta labs version that expired today. The official is out now in the Windows Phone Store. I got an email informing me of end of beta and start of official today.

Yeah, I got it twice, Laura. :D

That's why I'm asking. I installed the beta back in December or so, but haven't played with it since. Got the notification, figured I'd look into it a bit.

Well, it is on other platforms, and it actually works well there, so there's no harm in trying.

For all the (data-saving) features it has, it just has one tiny problem.

No desktop mode.
