non touchscreen homescreen background

i saw the thread on changing the background image on touchscreen devices, but since i have a moto q9c it wouldnt work for my phone. how can i change the background image when connected to redfly so it displays at 800x480 instead of 320x240? ive ried it several times but they never display at full resolution

Let me check into the q9c and get back to you. The non touchscreen phones can be tricky with the background images.
