Hi all,

I'm looking to maximise my battery life by disabling apps running in the background -

If I disable background running, does that mean the live tile for that app won't update? Eg. Weather

What about truecaller, does that mean it won't let me know who's calling?

What apps do you allow to run in the background, and why?

Thanks!

Disabling the background task for a certain app means that it will not automatically update. The update should be done manually from then on. Personally I turn off most app, except for my messaging apps, weather and sport :p
