Not able to select or mark multiple files(pictures,music...) to do actions(for sending,deleting..)

Hi,

I have updated my lumia 800 to windows 7.8 last week. I am very disappointed to see that there is no way to mark or select multiple files(pictures,music etc.) in the latest update also.

I just wanted to know whether microsoft will provide this basic feature which is a must for a smart phone. Doing actions for individual items is a tedious task. Will this feature be added in the next update ? Please reply.

it's not possible.
"features" from wp8 such as multiple selection, screenshot, lockscreen, ie10, backup... these could have been (easily?) implemented on 7.8. but instead we got new accent colors, new startscreen, non-functional live-tiles, battery drains, volume output problems, freezes, lags, delays, ... but did i say we got new accent colors!!

and i don't think ms will do anything about this in the future.
