Not "Always Connected" (Without LTE)

I use this at work. Rely on constant internet connection to keep my Citrix going. And don't use a sim.

It still disconnects to network when I close the type cover most of the time.

Do I need LTE to get the "always connected" promise?

You can change that in the power and sleep settings to not disconnect. I did and haven't really found any impact on battery
