Not getting notified when emails come into subfolders

Hi everybody... sorry for my poor english. Im new in windows phone seven!
I have a question for all!
Im not getting notified when emails come into subfolders in hotmail and gmail... If the new items go to inbox, I?ll get tone alert; or the new items go to subfolder, there?s no tone alert!!

This is correct?
Please, help me!

It is correct, you won't get a tone for subfolders. This is a popular suggestion, though, you may see it in the future.

Don't mean to bring up a old threat but did not want to start a new one

What's going on with this feature?!?!

I have 6 subfolders. Do I really have to pin all of them to start and clutter my screen with mail folders....?

I really hope this has been addressed and I'm just overlooking it...

yes and I also want this feature sincerely.

I just want the emails that go to the sub-folders(which is done automatically by the outlook rules) will be showed and alerted in the "linked inbox".

At least there should be an option to allow it.

Ugh I love my WP7, but another added to the list of stuff that worked great in WinMo6.0-6.1 and isn't included in WP. Give you a fancier sandwich but keep the pickles.
