Nothing says premium

Unfortunately not, as I superglued it back on.

However, here is a picture where you can clearly see that it is wonky (as a result of being put back in). I had to scrape out the ineffective glue and put in some superglue. I'll have to use acetone to wipe off the stains. If I really wanted to I could force it out again, because it is clearly raised and protruding in an uncomfortable way after I put it back in.

I'm not sure whether I should just return this device or get another back cover. There is no option to get a Microsoft back cover, and I am not a fan of the Mozo cases. Another ridiculous oversight. This is pretty outrageous, coupled with all the other issues that I've had on this device. My continuum dock has not even shipped yet!

It is the bottom right square. You can see the superglue in the sides, too. :'(

Amazon gave me a 20% discount ?90 off.

Still, this is a sad indication of build quality. Few things can be so damaging to a customer's view of Microsoft as a serious company as this.

UGH sorry... unbelieveable.. Flagship my...
How could they put such a 2nd class mid-level back cover on these phones, they do know they'd put on display next to iPhone 6, Galaxy S6 and LG 4 didn't they??

That's funny actually.

Although interesting, I was wondering how those squares were put in actually.

You should've contacted them instead of super gluing it back in. You might've gotten a whole replacement. Sucks you had to experience that.

I have that option. But it's wasted time.

They do not offer back cover replacement. They will wait for a third party to manufacture it. 😔
