I have a Nokia Lumia 939, running the latest updates of windows 10. Since yesterday I have had a problem with the notifications. I had three emails yesterday from 3 different accounts so they each show with a little (1) in a black circle on the start screen on each of mail icons. These little (1s) do not disappear, even though i have read all three emails. Three mail icons also appear on my lock screen. Once again, I can't make them disappear even after having read the emails. What's even more annoying, however, is the fact that, although I can still receive new emails and messages, most do not show up on my home screen nor as (1s) nor on my lock screen so I have to manually check each app to see whether I've received anything.
Anybody got any ideas? Have tried doing a soft reset to no avail. A new update installed a couple of days ago and i suspect it might have something to do with it.
