I found this article of Thurrott a bit strange because we don't have any idea of sales of the ipad pro, or surface.

So I set out to guess as best it can be done based on what is known. What do you guys think? can you do better? here is the link to my math and resources:

Based on my research, ipad pro sold 1.2M units (likely). I think surface (as in pro+book+surface) likely matched that, which is no small feat considering apple can sell a brick.
And yes I know I'm taking HUGE assumptions. But as I said, that is the best extrapolation because I have no better data, unless you find it.
