I have an old GPU. The 20 series had little on offer, the 30 series was decimated by crypto mining, and the 40 series pricing is out of whack. I have a feeling a lot of gamers have been feeling left out for a while.

Maybe with the super GPUs Nvidia will correct their pricing errors but I'm not going to hold my breath. Unfortunately Intel isn't competitive at 4k resolution and AMD seems to be spread too thin. The only upside has been allowing handheld PCs to catch up.
