OEM Firmware ?

So I had a brand new 8x.
Being dumb, I was playing around and put the phone in demo mode- thinking it would be reversible.

Now the phone wont save any data, wipes itself and goes back into a demo video roation.

Is there a way to reflash the stock firmware on the device to fix this? This worked on the Lumia 710, figured it should on this...

You could try this thread over at XDA but I'm not sure whether there are any working flash utilities.

How did you even put it into demo mode anyway? Presumably there's a way to reset the device from the bootloader, but I don't know how.

Have you tried holding the power button and volume down button together for 15 seconds?
