On my HTC 8x(Verizon), why has my mobile network stopped working after updating to preview for developers version?

When i had my normal windows 8 update, everything was fine. Then i wanted to try cortana and other 8.1 improvements. Thus went for a "Preview from Developers 8.1 Version". But now my phone is slower and mobile network isn't working right.
Another thing - when connected to a wifi network all seems to be good.....

So, any solution or suggestion.....will i be able to downgrade ???

First the bad news. You cannot downgrade as HTC hasn't released any software to help with your phone. At least the last time I checked.

One option, that you may not like, is doing a hard reset. What sometimes happens with using the DP is that it causes issues. A hard reset should take care of most things.

When you hard reset it you will still have WP8.1. You'll need to install the DP to receive further updates.

Be sure to backup before you reset.
