One Drive Confusion

I am kinda stymied by One Drive. It says the My Documents folder is synced, yet when I look at One Drive on my iPad the only files I see are those I manually saved on my PC.

HI have a folder that I would like synced to my One Drive so I can access the information on the go from my iPad. I would also like any files I save to this folder on my PC also get updated on the iPad. I do not see how I can accomplish this. Is this possible and or maybe I am just missing something?
