One major reason why I got the Icon (RAW images)

Really simple, the first image is straight from the phone, I didn't even bother cropping it. It's the 5Mpx version, so it's bigger and less compressed. The second is just me screwing around in Lightroom, maybe 10 minutes of messing around while at work, and exported using a preset I have for small, share-able images. It's not a great picture, busy background, crazy bright sunlight, and I framed it weird to keep the deck out of view (forgot about the one handed zoom, lol). I basically snapped this pic just to mess around with the RAW image.

RAW is the digital camera equivalent of a roll of film. You can do all kinds of things with the image using RAW editors like Lightroom, Aperture, or Photoshop, that you cannot do on a JPEG file.

Just one of a few reasons I dumped my 928 for it.

Very nice... the ability to edit my DSLR and camera phone pictures in Lightroom was a big selling point for me.
