Open box from ATT ?

I just received my l1520 from ATT. However, it's already open with the nano SIM card installed.
Is that normal? I am upgrading my phone, so I guess it's just because of installing nano SIM card?

Usually they put it in, for some reason, so it seems normal.

Yes, they always give a new sim card. I swapped my upgrade line so they took the new one out and put in another.
