"Mobile users stick with ChatGPT despite Microsoft's Copilot app offering free access to GPT-4 and DALL-E 3 image generation."

Given that Microsoft has no mobile presence, why is this surprising? To most phone users, Microsoft is "Who is that" and Copilot is "What is that?"

"Likewise, the report also indicates that ChatGPT downloads have significantly decreased compared to when it first launched, hitting 500,000 downloads in just a few days. This can be attributed to several issues, including reports that it's getting dumber, loss of interest by users..."

IOW, the novelty is gone and people are finding that AI is of no real use besides mild entertainment. Combined with the ongoing (and yet to come) legal issues, I really believe that "AI" is going to come and go faster than "smart speakers" did a few years ago.
