Desperate times call for disperate measures.....
This is the second time i opened my L620 to repair the volume button. The first time it was somewhere in May or June 2013...
(History: it was difficult to press the UP volume button so try to figure our, I opened the shell and found it was broken and slanting, I took to the NOkia Care Centre, but they told me they could not repair as they are afraid it may spoil since it is so new (as i am in northeast India) and offered me that they will send it to the main centres and that will take 1 month. Since i could not part with it i decided to do it by myself... and it was not very difficult and repaired somewhat with CELLOTAPE and one thin plastic.)
So, TODAY (20.11.2013) since the button was difficult to press again i opened second time. the reason was that between the button and the chip i placed a thin plastic (it was too thin). This time i used Fevicol and CELLOTAPE, and little thicker plastic. And it works fine. here are some of the screenshots.
