Opening RDP links and Direct Access

Since the phone is very job oriented, i was hoping to just bring my phone as a working computer out to clients, how cool wouldnt that be?

But the phone dont understand the .rdp filetype. Nothing is associated with it, tried installing the Remote Desktop app from Microsoft, still nothing.

Also Direct Access, is it any way to make it work without joining your phone to the domain and applying policy to the phone itself?

What you are trying is getting the desktop app file type to be used in a Store App. That won't work and it's normal that it would not be recognized.

Even on windows desktop, trying to open .RDP file type with the store app will not work.

Unfortunately I know of no way to add them to the Remote Desktop application, but I know that after you successfully login somewhere manually, the Remote Desktop Application remembers the locations and passwords and you can use that to connect next time.
