Organize Photos?

So, I've had my 920 for about 6 months now and my Photos Hub is starting to get a little unwieldy and requires a lot of scrolling to get to some of my pictures. Is there really no way to set up albums on the phone and move pictures around on the phone?

If not, is this something that's at least rumored for an upcoming update? Are there any apps that can help with this?

You can try the camera360's Photo Album built-in together with the Camera360's application.

Thanks for the suggestion, but that isn't exactly what I'm looking for. Unless I'm missing something that also just organizes the photos by date. I'm looking for something that can move pictures from album to album.

I don't think it exists for WP at this stage. Not sure about future updates however. I do understand why you want that ability though.

Saying that, I'm not sure if Skydrive will help you in this matter or not. I haven't investigated it.

You have MS. "Foto Timeline" or use Nokia Storyteller. The best apps for organizing. I use Foto Timeline since its much more simplistic and easier to use.

That's what I'm afraid of. Oh well, hopefully this is an area they've targeted for improvement in 8.1

Are you not able to connect to your computer and use file manager to move pictures and create folders on the phone?

I didn't really know I could do that! Too many years with an iPhone I guess. Thank you!!! I'd still like the ability to do this right on the phone, but this is a big help!

You're welcome! Doing it on the phone may be OK but, for me, I like seeing it done on a 27" monitor :smile:

There's a few file manager apps out there now. I use Pocket File Manager.
