Outlook calendar not syncing correctly

I noticed that my calendar on my phone is missing entry's from previous weeks but when I check online its all there so its not showing on my phone. Htc 8x dp 8.1

It only gets the last 3 or 4 month if I recall correctly. This is another dumb feature for Windows Phone. Same with Windows 8 calendar application. You always need to go to outlook.com to see older events.

i wonder, why u need older events, that too more than 3-4 months old.
i am generally bothered about coming events, not at all about those, which have already gone.

I use the calendar to keep track of my shifts and need to check back from time to time. Its only showing last week and all the rest are gone.
