I used to use my Google calendar as an intermediary between Outlook (no Exchange) and my Windows Phone calendar and it worked well as it synced my main Outlook calendar seamlessly. As of today, the Google calendar sync tool is no longer operational so I have been setting up the Outlook Connector.
My problem with using the Outlook Connector to sync to my Windows Phone is that I now have to use the Msoft server calendar in Outlook in order for items to sync - while synchronization works just fine, the issue comes in when I get a calendar invitation from someone else and accept, it automatically goes to my "main" Outlook calendar which does not sync. I have to manually copy the event to my Msoft server calendar to get it to sync to my Phone.
Am I missing something here or is this just the way I am going to need to work (hope not)?
