Panorama feature is broken on my Lumia 920, gives an error whenever tried to save one

try to check for app updates for the camera
Also see if you can update the phone OS to 10586.545 - exit insider program and then check for OS updates

There are two points that immediately come to mind.
1. The Lumia 920 was never meant to run Windows 10.
2. The panorama mode is meant to be used vertically, not horizontally.

Either way, check for app updates or do a soft reset and try again.

Panorama mode does not work on phones which did not get the (official) update to W10
