
Panos Panay was named as the leader of Microsoft's hardware engineering efforts several months ago, and since then the company has released several new devices, including the Surface Book notebook, the Surface Pro 4 tablet, and its new Lumia smartphones. In a new interview, Panay offers some insights about the company's hardware philophies, but dodged questions about if the company plans to launch a "Surface Phone" in the future.
