I think that I've already seen it, but Microsoft has just been granted a patent for a "Wearable Personal Information System":

Could it be an indication of a new Band/Smartwatch?
It seems the patent is quite new, but I think I've seen the pictures somewhere else...

It looks like the one you listed here is a continuation of the one posted in 2012. However the one here looks interchangeable though from the drawings/claims. Very innovative in a general sense.
