Pen started bleeding like a gel ink pen

Yesterday for the first time the pen on my Surface Pro 3 began bleeding ink crazy everytime i tried to write in One Note 2013. I had been using it all day without a problem and after 5 pm it was useless. After a while i took out the battery in the pen and placed it back and problem solved. It was still dissapointing but i like the SP3 so much i want to pretend its not important.

These reported problems are starting to get crazy. Next thing you know people will be saying their SP3 is speaking in Latin and vomiting green pea soup out the vents.
