Yeah, so the well known issue with Surface pen (tip) not being detected apparently STILL isn't resolved on SP 2017.
I got a second-hand SP4 pen that pairs fine and opens OneNote, but the tip isn't detected at all.
Has the issue, after all those years, been finally confirmed to be hardware, or software-related? I did the contacts cleaning, battery replacement, and all that. I'm going to the store tomorrow to see if it works with another pen.
It might be a defective pen, obviously, but after reading all the posts on the web I kind of doubt it.
