Phone Backup does not work at all

Hi there,

I have a Lumia 830 and like to create a Backup. Unfortunately this does not work at all.

What I do: Settings -> Backup -> Apps + Settings -> Back up now

This seems to work - at least I don't get an error message.

But when I select "Manage backups" to see the list of all my backups, there's nothing.

Also when I go to OneDrive.com, go to Settings -> Options -> Device Backups, all I get is one line:
"Sorry, an error has occurred."

wtf!? I little bit more details about the error would be nice Microsoft.

Is this a known Windows Phone 8.1 issue?

Can you sync your Microsoft Account? Settings > email + accounts > hold down on the Microsoft Account name > when the popup happens, tap sync...

If not, make sure the date and time are correct. OR You may have to turn off Data Sense. Try and sync your Msft Acct again. If it works, run backup. If not, you obviously have another issue.

That seems to work. Microsoft account gets grey, says "synchronizing" for a few seconds, gets back to white again.

Date and Time is OK.

When I run the manual backup, it goes to 10% ... 50% ... then stays for a long time at 96% ... and then 100%. No error message.

But when I check on OneDrive.com, I still get "Sorry, an error has occurred."

What does that error message mean?
