phone keeps restarting

Not sure what happened 2 weeks ago but my Lumia 950xl restarts about 20 timed a day randomly but a lot when opening and sending messages and locking and unlocking phone. Started happening on my brothers 950xl as well at the same time. Have done a hard reset but still happens. Anyone else having the same problem?

Yeah...my 950XL is doing the same thing, not as much as yours but has done it about 5 times during the last couple of weeks.

You need a new battery, random restarts like this is a typical sign of a failing battery. It happened to me a year ago and was fixed by a new battery. Try to get an original battery or at least a brand with good reviews, many batteries are bad and will not fix the problem. There's a long thread about this issue here on windows central.
