Phone loses connection

I have a Lumia 950 DS, and it loses its connection to the network frequently. Sometimes it comes up with 5 bars, and sometimes it says no signal for the SIM. I have to restart the phone to get it back on the network. It seems like every few days I have to restart the phone to get it back on the network. It's been like this for as long as I can remember (at least a year).

Does anyone else have this problem? Or even know what I'm talking about?

I was thinking of buying a new 950 to resolve this problem, as I want to keep to Microsoft as long as I can. Android doesn't really appeal to me.

Sounds like either a phone fault to me. Could be a SIM issue I guess. Have you tried using the other SIM socket in case that changes anything? Or even re-seating the SIM.
