Phone Reset Lumia 625.

Is that possible to reset Lumia 625 running on Win 8.1 to factory setting without lossing or disturbing apps and data on SD Card?

Short answer is no.

- Move all apps to phone (from SDcard).
- BACKUP
- pull the SDcard before Phone reset
- RESET
- put card back in (it'll index contents)
- allow backup (you need to sign in) to restore all your settings / apps

But I have lots of aaps and games on sd card approx of 7 to 8gb can backup and restore work?

When you hard reset your phone you have an option to NOT wipe the SD card. I know as I did it myself 3 days ago

What he ^^^ said, forgot about that - but, I'd backup whatever data (pics, music, vids, docs) is on there

What the difference between hard reset and soft reset and how it can be performed?

Hard reset wipes the entire phone. Soft reset is like turning the phone off then on again. Doesn't lose anything. Its just there in case your phone freezes but can also fix a few bugs too remarkably
