phone wont turn on after charging

I had my phone on the charger for about 2 hours and When I went to get it the screen was frozen. So I turned it off and it wont come back on now. When I take out the battery and attach the charger the buttons on the bottom seem to glow. It had no signs of this and has never done this. Its a nokia lumia 810.

Try holding vol down + power 15 secs. Elsewhere plug it to a notebook and use Windows Device Recovery tool

This has happened to me in the past, if you plug in your phone while the phone's unresponsive, then you would need to reboot the phone for it to charge properly. your phone is blinking because it's indicating that the phone is completely dead and needs to be charged.

battery might have failed completely - since it's kind of an old model, repairs will be tricky
