Photos App in Windows 8.1: Am I Mising Something?

The Photos app in Windows 8 was barely useful. In Windows 8.1, they added a good feature and made it useless at the same time. The good feature is the large tile with slideshow. On the other hand, I have no way to add my Skydrive or Facebook photos to the app. I tried adding the Skydrive folders to the Photos library in windows explorer. This did nothing, because the Photos app only looks at the c: drive. I have a 32GB surface, so I am not storing photos on my c: drive. It looks like they took away the feature of adding Skydrive and Facebook photo folders in the Photos app.

Am I missing something? Is there any way to actually see photos in the Photos app other than from the c: drive?

i'm hoping this is fixed for the official release. it MUST be fixed by the official release (assuming you and i both are missing something or doing something wrong). i really believe features like this are necessary for the success of the platform. folks love their photos and video.
