Hi, everyone. I'm wanting to see what type of back cover you received with your 435. I'm in the U.S. and bought a T-Mobile prepaid 435, which came with a matte white. Ordered a green back from the Microsoft Store and got the dual shot-style green cover, marked suitable for both the 435 and 532.

Here is what I'm trying to figure out: Does the stock 435 come with the "regular" color back if you order it as-is? I've seen pictures of a dual shot white cover, though I don't know what phone this originally comes on. Furthermore, Windows Central's review of their orange 435 is the plain cover once again and not the dual shot. I have an unconfirmed theory that the 532s come with dual shot out of the box and the 435s come with the regular cover. I'd like to see if this is true and that there indeed exists a "regular" green cover.

The T-Mobile 435 is always going to come with a white back, since that's the only option that T-Mobile goes for. (Similar to how AT&T does black for their Lumias out the box).

All of the back covers are actually "dual shot" if you want to be technical. They don't have to say it, but in this case, both phones are the same size, so the same back fits with it. The orange one is also dual shot. You have to remember that unlike the 435, the 532 is only available in select countries and that probably explains why that was said.

I ordered the same green back for the 435, and I had the 532 for a day. I tried the green shell on it (the unlocked one I ordered came with a black one) and it fit perfectly.

Hi Libra, and thanks for your input.

I'll detail a little more of what I'm trying to do. I have a very strong fondness for the Lumia green color and have tried my best to buy each new Lumia in the color if it was offered. I've now decided to up the level of craziness by aiming to own every single green Lumia in existence.

From various videos, pictures, and reviews, I've seen that there are two variations of each of the colors (I am aware that the fit is the same, also). There are the typical matte backs, such as the one we are referring to packaged with the T-Mobile 435, and then there are the dual shot backs, which have a matte back and a transparent frame. Adding to my original post, I've watched more videos and continue to see 435 reviews where the phone has the matte back, which leads me to believe the original intent of the dual shot backs is for the 532. For consistency's sake, I am going to maybe get a 532, but for differentiation I want the matte back on my 435 and the dual shot on the 532.

And yes, you are more than welcome to call me crazy.

Ooh, I get what you're saying.
Yes, your theory isn't incorrect. The black shell on the 532 I had for a day was the same with the transparent edges. The green cover is the same way, so it's safe to assume that the orange is too.

You don't sound crazy to me, I hate that I don't have a green Lumia everyday lol. Occasionally, I think of possibly getting the 435 or 532 again just for the green back. I haven't though, so for now, I'm trying another knockoff green back for the 640. Basically, I can understand.
