Pictures in photos app

Microsoft photos app shows all my WhatsApp photos and videos and they're getting hacked up as well in onedrive.
Is there a way to only show and backup only photos from my camera roll folder rather than all the junk I get in WhatsApp?

remove the folders you see there, and manually "add a folder" which would be "cameraroll"

I only see the internal and sd card as sources. No way to chose folders. I'm using Lumia 950

Go into Whatsapp settings, and switch off the automatic save option of received content to your photo album.

I think it's even worse that you can't put a filter on the picture while on the computer you can...

Can you even call the apps "universal" if the features and options are different? Apparently Microsoft can..
