Dear Microsoft,

I am a big fan of your mobile OS - I think it is intuitive and pretty (on mobile devices - not a fan of tiles on the desktop...another discussion). Your current strategy and lineup of phones breaks my heart. Carrier exclusivity, confusing naming and repetitive mediocre phones (specs wise). I am sure that you have all sat around the conference table ad-nauseum to to discuss this but may I suggest success in three easy steps:

1. One flagship phone with current specs, hottest camera, mind blowing full HD screen etc. (i mean come on! you now own the Nokia pureview camera system - which is arguably the most audacious camera ever slipped into a smartphone, and yet we have only seen it on one "meh" phone from AT&T)

2. One Value Based phone - (which sadly may be something akin to the 835 you just announced) I was like "WEEEEEEE! new phone" and then i was like "oh ok"

3. Finally both of those phones simultaneously released on EVERY CARRIER - no more exclusivity - come on you have enough cash and resources not to have to resort to exclusivity - make the carriers do what you want, not the other way around. As Yoda once said "Stop confusing everyone by sprinkling different phones with different carriers!" (that last quote was cut from the movie)

Note: I like the Fitness Band and Cortana - nice move - now get a coherent phone platform that people will identify with and you will be solid. People buy tech now because of the way it makes them feel and how they believe they are perceived by owning and using that Tech. I want to feel you Microsoft - Now get out there and make me proud!

It's nice to see someone start their very first post with sth nice to say lol Let's wait till W10 to contemplate what MS should or should not do.. After all we have no idea what they're brewing, but if it's anything short of spectacular (subjective) then most will be disappointed and mi thinks MS knows that by now
