How can I make sure Bing is NOT my search engine?

More details please. In a web browser? That's easy. On a phone? Less simple. etc.

Open web browser, type anything in address bar> PRESS ENTER.
It will search your desired text in default browser's search engine.
Only MS IE,EDGE has been set Bing Search engine as default.

On W10 phone: Open Edge Settings> Advance Settings. Under this, you can change your default search engine.

How can I make sure Bing is NOT my search engine?

If you think of your default search engine in the bottom right corner of the phone, it cannot be changed AFAIK, though I have read somewhere that if you set the region for Russia it changes to google.
