Please tell me there is a way to turn off the Xbox home beeps when moving through menus...

Exactly as I said... I don't need a beep every time I navigate through a menu but I can't find a menu setting to turn it off.

Weirdly the settings menu looks to me to be missing lots of settings... it seems rather basic compared to the 360.

While on the subject, is there a way to turn off those beeps on the 360? They drive me crazy, lol.

Easy man, say "Xbox Mute" then go to where you want then "Xbox volume up" hey presto you've got to where you want without the beeps

better yet you can say "xbox unmute" and keep your same volume level
