.png files in e-mails? (PNG)

I have a Lumia 650 and receive e-mails all the time with .png files in the message or as an attachment. I almost can never view them. Sometimes I can download them and view them then, but rarely ever. Is there an app to view these easier? Or is there a setting that I have wrong on the phone? Or is this just a Windows 10 mobile issue in general? Thanks for any help.

So it looks like no one else has this problem. I have to use .png because this is the file type we use to insert into our projects. And it would be nice to preview them on my phone when I'm out and about. Then I could give feedback right away and be more productive. It seems to work on Android and iPhone just fine. This may be a deal breaker.
