Has anyone else noticed the Podcasts app using more cellular data than expected?

I'm using v1.0.12349.0 and have enabled the "Only download over Wi-Fi or unlimited data plan" setting yet Data Sense (and my carrier) reveal that it has used 575 MB of Cellular data...

This happened to me! It sucked almost 460 megs of my 500 MB limit in the beggining of a month. I was so pissed!

Yep, I see this too. I don't stream at all, only download over WiFi, 1.27GB mobile data usage for the month! It's pushed me right up against my plan limit, may go over for the first time ever because of this.

Anybody else seeing this lately? Just hit my cap for the second straight month in a row with this podcast app. I have it set to only allow downloading over WiFi and streaming turned off, but this last month it still downloaded 1.28GB of podcasts over LTE.

Any luck with figuring this out? More than 2 years later, wp8.1, Microsoft podcast app, and cellular data continues to be used despite "only download over WiFi..." setting being enabled. Problem appears to show up when one or more podcasts experience difficulty downloading over WiFi (stalled, or continuously restarting - snapping back from 50% or so to 0% downloaded). This, despite the fact that I have "for limited data connectivity..." setting in "cellular + SIM" set to "don't use cellular data". There should be no way that the podcast app uses ANY cellular data for downloading and yet it clearly sometimes does, in large chunks.

I do have "allow streaming" enabled, but the usage noted above occurs when nothing being played, or already downloaded content being played.

I've kept the problem under control by turning off cellular data when I'm connected to WiFi (thank you, quick actions in pull-down notifications area!), but that's a pain insofar as I forget to do so, or forget to re-enable when I leave WiFi area.
