Podcasts wont download - Xbox Music / Lumia 822

So i've always had issues of podcasts not downloading automatically - even over WiFi, but now when I click on a podcast and manually download it, it wont even do that. I click download - the "download" button it grays out like it accepted the command - but it does not download. Does not show up as pending in my podcast lists - and does not show up as pending in the app store. Before this, my podcasts feed had not automatically downloaded my podcasts for a few days. Anyone else having this issue? I know you cannot force XBox Music to automatically refresh your feeds, but I should be able to download them.

Same here. I'ts a complete 180 from W7, where everything worked fine for me. I have to manually go in a check to see if there are any new podcasts to download, as it will not auto-download for me. It's a joke. MS really needs to fix this basic function of a smartphone. I can't even find a good app to replace it. I love WP but these basic features need to be fixed and on par with other OS. I could care less about instagram...just fix your basic smartphone functions! Good Greif!!!!

Any answer to this yet? Here it is 3/6/13 and my podcasts still say "pending"!!!!

I'm having a very similar problem on my Lumia 822. Xbox music won't download any of my subscribed podcasts and I can't delete any podcast episode. Very frustrating. My WP7.5 HTC Arrive is working like a zune mp3 player now so I have that work around
