Hi,

Is it possible to turn the dGPU off to safe battery life? This is possible in some of the W Thinkpads.

Thanks

There is an Intel HD Graphics card (520 I think) in the clipboard/screen (it comes with the CPU) that is used when it is separated from the keyboard. The question that needs to be answered is can you choose which graphics chip to use when the keyboard is attached, or is it software driven to switch only when the screen is removed/detached?

I totally didn't think about the tablet. Of course.

Now that the first people here have some Book with dGPU, can you easily turn the dGPU off to safe battery?

Thanks

If you open the control panel, go to "Hardware and Sound", select NVIDIA control panel you can set your preferred graphics processor. Default is auto. Not sure if it will help battery or not.
