Power button, too easy to power up the SB by mistake

I find that the power button on the "clipboard" of the Surface Book is much too exposed. What I mean is that you only need to touch it for a second or less for the SB to switch on. That is easily done when the computer is packed away in a case, resulting in a depleted battery once you take it out of the case at a later time to use it.

Any views on this. I wish I could have a delay on the power button, i.e. keep it pressed for 5 seconds or more or something like that. Ultimately I would have preferred a sliding switch with a little "threshold".

8 usually have to hold mine down 2 to 3 seconds for it to startup. I also have a water proof MacBook carry case that it slips right into to carry. I paid $40 for the bag at best buy.
