Power issue / won't charge

Looks like my 520 is gubbed. It has been taking much longer than usual to charge last few days, but last night when plugged in to charge the phone kept switching off and on until the screen stopped lighting up/coming on and all I got for some time was a short vibration a couple of times a minute. Phone completely dead, won't switch on and have tried a different charger and using data cable. Anyone had similar?

Somewhat similar, but connecting it to my PC solved it.

Hey thanks for that link - I used data cable to plug it into laptop and it successfully charges. But for some reason, using the same data cable with a USB charger plug didn't work.

Yes, mine was also a strange issue.
