Could not help but notice that the 830 has dropped in price on Amazon. Last week they were selling for 449$, this week all the sellers have dropped the price to 419$. These are all unlocked units. I wonder if this is a trend.

Prices on "Amazon" can change quite rapidly, esp on stuff Amazon doesn't sell. It seems on items Amazon doesn't sell, they rotate every day or so which 3rd party price gets quoted.

The 4 models listed on Amazon all say the "International Version", which I'd assume means the RM-984. If so, then they'll work with AT&T on HSPA+, but not on LTE.

For full AT&T or T-Mobile compatibility, look for the RM-983 (AT&T branded version), or the RM-985 (Canadian and Latin American version).

If it's the RM-984, the International version, then yes, they will work on AT&T with the exception of LTE which they don't support the bands for.
I have one and it get HSPA+ (as expected), however for me that's plenty fast. I usually get 10mps ~ 13+ mps speeds with mine.

My question is will they work with att.
