Pro 2 and gaming

I was just trying out L4D2 on my Pro 2 256 gig machine. It runs great, except periodically (every 3-4 minutes) it hitches for 3 seconds or so, and then wham, right back to great performance. I played for about 10 minutes, and it hitched, and then crashed. Steam itself hung as well.

I then made sure it was set to the high power plan setting, and ran Steam/L4D2 again. In the lobby for L4D2, where it shows some zombies walking around, it hitched again in the exact same way.

Has anybody seen this before? I'm vaguely thinking video driver bug, but I see lots of people report running L4D2 reliably on Surfaces, so I'm a little surprised.

Seems like the graphics drivers or it could be the game itself that needs an update.

You need to update your drivers. Minecraft and steam games run fine on my pro 2.

I've played L4D2, Half Life2 [esp 1 and 2], Path of Exile, Diablo III on my SP2 without a problem. This guy has ran through a ton of games on SP and SP2.

Yup, I played BOII and Portal, works fine.

Yeah, just ran Payday 2 without any issues. Any suggestions for updating my drivers? I normally just wait to get whatever MS sends down to me.

Go to device manager then graphics or something like that then right click update.
