Pro 6/Laptop 2 and 4k editing

would the pro 6 or the Laptop be capable of 4k video editing, considering they now have quad core processors?

The Pro 5 (2017) can already edit 4k media as long as you use a proxy. My i5, 4Gb, using Corel Videostudio handles the GoPro 6 4k media perfectly fine.

Surface Pro 5 i7 even better than pro6 thanks to Iris graphics. But some programs are using CPU for render, so then yes. Pro 6 have much better cpu than AMD fx 8350/9590 so yes you can
